Before Locus became a leader in logistics innovation, our story began with a mission much closer to home — developing a route deviation app, RideSafe, to ensure safer journeys for women. Today, the need for such innovations is more urgent than ever.

In 2025, women’s safety remains a pressing concern. Despite technological advancements, everyday travel continues to pose risks, limiting freedom, opportunities, and peace of mind. But what if technology could change that?

This Women’s Day, we invite you to step into the driver’s seat of change. Join the #CodeForHer Hackathon and build the most intuitive solution/app you can imagine to make commute safe for women.

Hackathon Schedule

  • Preliminary Round: Virtual submission of POC & Code by 23rd March 2025.
  • Final Round: In-person presentation of shortlisted entries & winner announcement on April 4th, 2025.
  • Final Round Venue: Locus Office, Koramangala, Bengaluru, Karnataka 560034

Eligibility

  • Open to all final year students, and professionals with upto 3 years of experience.
  • You can participate as an individual or as a team of up to 4 people.
